BAKER, Martin

Martin is the Senior Director of Natural Climate Solutions for Anew Climate and is responsible for the co-development of Nature-based Solution projects in partnership with Indigenous communities and other private landowners across Canada. Martin has spent much of his career working with government, industry, and First Nations on the sustainable management of Canada’s natural resources. Today, Martin supports landowners in the development and monetization of Nature-based Solutions to climate change and biodiversity loss. Martin recently completed policy research through the University of Cambridge which explores the barriers and enablers associated with implementing forest carbon offset projects on Public Land in Canada.
