Daniel Andres acts as Chief of Climate & Biodiversity Operations for Perimeter Forest Limited Partnership. As an ecologist by training (MSc Ecology & Evolution, University of Calgary), Daniel has spent the past decade at the forefront of the energy & environmental transition. In 2016 he co-founded Perimeter Solar Inc., culminating in the successful development of what was at the time Canada’s largest solar power plant (Claresholm Solar Project, Alberta). Following this, in 2021 he went on to form Perimeter Forest, Canada’s largest private timberland owner purpose-dedicated to carbon and environmental credit development. As part of the organization, Daniel oversees the design of Perimeter Forest’s high-integrity and impactful nature-based carbon projects
