David Boublil has been working in the European Commission for the last 20 years, where he occupied varied positions including adviser to the Commissioner in charge of taxation and spokesperson on taxation and customs.
Since end 2019 as a deputy head of unit in the directorate general in charge of taxation and customs, David is working on the tax elements of the EU Green Deal, in particular coordinating the work on the Commission proposal for a Carbon Border Adjustment mechanism.
