Joel Davis is a London-based Senior Consultant specializing in energy and environmental economics at NERA. He advises a range of public and private sector clients on decarbonisation policy, energy market design and regulation. Prior to joining NERA, Mr. Davis worked at the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy as a Senior Economist, heading a Carbon Pricing Analysis team that advised on practically every policy issue regarding the design and implementation of the UK ETS. Mr. Davis also advised on strategic issues such as mitigating carbon leakage risks and expanding the scheme to other sectors and linking it with other schemes.
