Nicolas is responsible for leading the firm’s energy and environmental business throughout the Asia Pacific region, including strategy, marketing and distribution of futures and options on CME Globex®, the exchange’s electronic trading platform, as well as the company’s OTC energy clearing services through CME ClearPort.
With the growing environmental interests of customers, Dupuis is focused on helping clients in the region with their risk management needs in the emissions market. He also works closely with Dubai Mercantile Exchange, CME Group’s strategic partner, to cross promote products and services.
Prior to joining the company in September 2016, Dupuis was Head of Energy Derivatives Desk Asia Pacific at Societe Generale, where he was responsible for sales, trading, and clearing brokers’ activities. Before that, Dupuis worked in various roles across trading, deal structuring and sales with Total and Societe Generale.
Dupuis holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon, and Masters in Technology Management from EM Lyon.
