Marcos González is Deputy Head of Unit at DG CLIMA – B4: Air, Rail, Water & Intermodal Policy. His unit is responsible for the decarbonisation policies in these sectors, including the inclusion of the maritime sector in the European Emission Trading System. Previously he worked in decarbonisation policies for energy intensive industries and energy and competition policies. He is an engineer.
