Bahar Ubay Guclusoy is an Green Economy Transition and Environmental & Social Advisor working at EBRD European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London. With over 20 years of professional experience, she has expertise in climate change policies, environmental sustainability, and greenhouse gas management gained through her work in various international and real sector organizations, including the World Bank’s Partnership for (Carbon) Market Readiness (PMR) in Turkiye. Previously, she served as the Global Director for Sustainability at Sisecam Group, spearheading the development of the Group’s 2030 Sustainability Strategy and ESG practices. Guclusoy holds an engineering degree from Istanbul Technical University and an MSc from Imperial College London in Environmental Technology.
