Prior to this, he spent 14 years at S&P Global Commodity Insights managing commodity benchmarks and teams of market reporters and analysts. During this time, which was spent primarily in metals and agriculture markets, he played an important role in establishing several pricing benchmarks. Before that, he was editor of a specialized newsletter focusing on the French private equity industry.
