Muireann joined Hartree Partners in 2021 as the Head of Environmental Strategy & Advisory. In this role she is responsible for the development of global sustainability and carbon-linked businesses, including environmental products trading and climate investments.
Leveraging nearly 15 years’ experience in corporate strategy and sustainability, Muireann works directly with companies on their approaches to decarbonisation and environmental market participation. She has led engagements through all stages of the journey to “net zero” emissions, with a sectoral focus on energy and industrials. She is a director in Hartree’s VC to growth equity energy transition business and a member of the firm’s ESG Committee.
Previous employers include South Pole, Deloitte, and the World Economic Forum. Muireann holds an MSc in Environmental Economics & Climate Change from the London School of Economics, and a BA in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
