David Oxley is Chief Climate and Commodities Economist at Capital Economics. He manages a team responsible for researching and forecasting key commodity markets as well as the macroeconomic effects of climate change and mitigation efforts. As part of this, he recently oversaw the launch of Capital Economics’ coverage of compliance carbon markets. David has extensive international experience working as a macroeconomist in both the private and public sectors in the UK, New Zealand, and Switzerland.
