Edwin leads the Southeast Asia Climate and Nature-based Solutions (SCeNe) Coalition as the Head of Secretariat and NbS Partnerships Lead with a focus on driving the strategic direction and external presence of the Coalition. He supports and coordinates the work of the Coalition’s three key workstreams – the NbS Tool, Incubator & Portfolio – working closely with the senior leadership of member organizations to ensure the Coalition’s objectives are met. He is responsible for developing and driving the Coalition’s efforts to support regional frontline organizations (FOs) to accelerate and scale-up nature-based solutions that yield triple-benefit outcomes for climate, people and nature. A key focus is on fundraising to support early-stage development of projects and partnering FOs to build capacity and knowledge to develop NbS projects. Edwin holds an economics degree from the University of Massachusetts, and has served in various roles in government, industry bodies and non-government organizations in policy development & advocacy, sustainability and strategic communications.
