Mireille Meneses is a carbon market and climate policy advisor with over 9 years of experience in the field. Currently, she is the Service Line Lead for the Carbon Credit Advisory team at EcoAct, where she advises clients on carbon offsetting strategies and the assessment of project opportunities. She has worked with clients across a diverse range of industries, including oil and gas, cement, chemicals, automotive, and consumer goods. Mireille has experience in international cooperation, climate change negotiations and carbon border adjustment mechanisms.
Prior to joining EcoAct, she worked for South Pole as a climate policy and carbon markets consultant and was a member of the Natural Climate Solutions Alliance (NCSA) Secretariat, mobilising investment for natural climate solutions. Previously, she served as a Senior Policy Advisor on Climate Change for the Mexican Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT).
