About Carbon Forward Expo 2026

Carbon Forward Expo London returns on 14–15 October 2026. Now in its 11th year, we are in a larger more dynamic venue with a completely revamped format – a two-day high intensity, multi-streamed conference, with more content than ever before. We again bring together industry leaders across the global compliance and voluntary carbon markets in plenaries, panel discussions, focus rooms, deep-dive workshops, targeted streams. This is all around a central networking hub where attendees, speakers, sponsors can meet, greet, and make deals.

The challenge ahead for us all is clear: how do we deliver meaningful climate action while maintaining economic resilience, industrial competitiveness and public support?

Carbon markets are entering a defining period. The EU ETS reform proposals are fast approaching. European industrial competitiveness is under scrutiny. The political debate around carbon pricing is heating up. At the same time, as Article 6 starts to take shape, a new era of international carbon trade is emerging.

Carbon Forward Expo London 2026 is built around this challenge. From carbon pricing and industrial decarbonisation to market convergence and international carbon trade, we explores the forces shaping the next decade of carbon markets.

The landscape is changing. The stakes are rising. What comes next?

We look forward to opening the doors on our 2026 edition and exploring the evolving narrative and where carbon markets are heading – there is debate and discussion around this – and all of this will be unpacked.

In 2025, Carbon Forward Expo London brought together over 600 attendees, with 100 speakers, and 20 sponsors from across the global carbon markets ecosystem. including finance, energy, project development, exchanges, insurers, industry bodies, and government.
