Ayse Frey is Managing Director of Energy Changes, a climate advisory and carbon project developer firm based in Vienna Austria. She has more than 20 years of experience in multiple facets of the carbon markets, including project development, origination, standards development, and auditing. She has worked as a lead auditor of carbon projects at TÜV SÜD, as a member of the UNFCCC CDM Registration & Issuance Team, and as Operations Director at The Gold Standard Foundation. She is currently on the Regulatory Committee of the Global Carbon Council, and a Director of the Project Developer Forum. She has deep insight into various project types globally including energy, energy efficiency, CCUS, refrigerant gases, transport, and waste management.
Ayse holds a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a PhD in water and wastewater treatment from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Austria.
