Chris Sherwood leads the Negative Emissions Platform, the Brussels-based CDR industry association. NEP advocates for CDR to be supported by national, EU, and international policy, and is creating the architecture for this new industry community, including the CDR Industry Commitments, the CDR30 initiative, and the Invest in Carbon Removals event series. Chris is Anglo-French, and grew up in the US. He has worked in Brussels on EU and global public policy for 24 years, coming into the climate/CDR space in late 2022.
