Eilis is Associate VP – Carbon Markets at Kita, the carbon insurance specialist. Kita’s purpose is to enable carbon projects and technologies to scale by offering a portfolio of insurance products that reduce carbon risk. Reduced risk in carbon credit transactions leads to greater flows of upfront capital and accelerates the pace of positive climate impact. At Kita, Eilis focuses on business development, carbon market engagement, and providing carbon market expertise internally. Prior to Kita, Eilis completed a Law Degree and Masters in Environmental Management for Business. She was named as Rising Star of the Year (SME) at the Women in Green Business Awards 2024 and is a founding member of Women In Carbon.
