FATHALLAH, Mourad

Mourad FATHALLAH is head of strategy and international partnerships at Casablanca Finance City (CFC). CFC is an African business hub located at the crossroad of continents. Recognized as the leading financial center in Africa, and partner of the largest financial centers, CFC has built a strong and thriving community of members. CFC aims at bridging between international investors and African institutions by creating opportunities and adding significant value. 

In his capacity as head of strategy and international partnerships, Mourad is responsible forcrafting and executing business strategies aligned with Casablanca Finance City’s vision. He is an active contributor to expert workstreams related to the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) and the United Nations Financial Centers for Sustainability Network (FC4S).He co-leads the CFC FinTech Innovation Lab and is part of the carbon markets taskforce. 

Mourad has over 18 years of extensive work experience with an established track record and an international network. Prior joining CFC, he held various positions in the financial services industry in Japan, Switzerland, and France. 

Mourad is a graduate of Grenoble Institute of Technology (MSc in computer sciences & applied mathematics), holds a Master of Finance from Grenoble Alpes University and MBA degree awarded by Ecole des Ponts in Paris. He lectures at universities, publishes reports, and is involved in non-profit organizations.
