Ekaterina (Kate)Shilina is Carbon Markets Regulatory Manager at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, where she leads regulatory engagement across international compliance and voluntary carbon markets. Her work focuses on developing credible policy frameworks that enable carbon markets to support global climate goals, spanning areas such as Article 6, CORSIA, the EU and UK ETS, CBAM, and wider market design. She also supports the advancement of RWE’s large-scale BECCS removal projects by helping shape the regulatory conditions needed for their deployment.
