For more than 20 years M. LE STRAT has been working in the R&D of Electricité De France on the ETSs’ subjects. Studying the European carbon market (EU-ETS1/2, CBAM, ESR) but also the other regional systems (Californian ETS, Chinese ETSs,…) and global systems (Kyoto Protocal tools, Paris Agreement Art. 6.x,…), he has an extensive view on the evolutions of the carbon markets, and especially the EU-ETS1. He is closely following the regulatory evolutions of the ETS and is involved in studies aiming at assessing the possible evolutions of the carbon price and its impact on the European energy system.
