Florian is Senior Analyst in the European Carbon Analytics Team at ICIS. He is an expert for EU ETS market design and the interaction of Carbon markets with the energy complex. He is the author of several reports on the EU ETS and European power markets and on daily basis advices ICIS clients with ETS compliance players, the financial sector and regulators. Florian joined ICIS in January 2017 covering EU ETS policy developments. Since then, he has done research and analysis on both Carbon and Power topics within ICIS and has helped to significantly expand ICIS modelling capabilities. He holds a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany and has studied at KTH Stockholm, Sweden and UPV Bilbao, Spain.
