Ramazan Aslan, an industrial engineer, is the chief executive at Life Climate, the company he founded. He has been involved in voluntary carbon market for over 15 years. He has been providing consultancy services to the projects in the voluntary carbon market and has taken part in significant capacity building projects of compliance markets, such as the establishment of emission trading systems and greenhouse gas monitoring, reporting and verification systems. His area of expertise also cover the calculation of carbon footprint of events, companies and institutions, managing the origination and trade of emission reduction credits and renewable energy certificates under various frameworks, completing energy efficiency projects in primary emission source sectors and consultation services provided for the establishment of unlicensed solar power plants in Turkiye
