Cynthia Conner is the Director of Carbon Offsets Policy for Chevron New Energies. Previously, she worked with NASA, monitoring agency-related activity in congress, and assessing and advising senior management on the impact of proposed legislation on Johnson Space Center’s workforce and mission readiness. She went on to join the British Consulate as an energy and climate policy advisor, and then the British Embassy in Washington, D.C. as the senior policy advisor on energy and climate. She joined the Chevron New Energies team in 2022, and is responsible for leading policy engagement on a portfolio covering carbon markets and emerging energy technologies, building partnerships to accelerate the global low carbon transition while ensuring access to clean, reliable, affordable energy.
