Tyson Dyck is a partner at Torys LLP and leads the firm’s Climate Change and Emissions Trading Practice. He advises clients on a wide variety of carbon trading and compliance matters, including on transactions in all of the major compliance and voluntary markets; on the development and financing of carbon avoidance and removal projects; on the purchase and sale of credits generated under renewable portfolio and clean fuel standards; and on compliance with North American carbon pricing regimes. He has worked with many of the country’s largest companies in developing their strategies to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions. And he has advised on the development of over 50 wind, solar and energy storage projects, and on several major CCUS projects.
