Elle Butterworth is an Energy Policy Advisor at the Energy Systems Catapult. The Catapult was set up to accelerate the transformation of the UK’s energy system. Elle supports the Catapult’s Net Zero Carbon Policy thought leadership project, focusing on how the UK can develop an innovation-friendly, economy-wide policy framework for Net Zero. Elle holds an MSc in Sustainability from Southampton University and is also a Part-Time PhD Candidate at CRESR, analysing wicked policy problems.
