FONDEN, Bjorn

Björn is an International Policy Advisor at IETA, based in Singapore. He is mainly responsible for tracking and analyzing policy development of international carbon markets under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, national emissions trading systems and voluntary carbon markets, with a regional focus on Asia and the Pacific. This includes leading interactions with a large group of corporations, governments, international institutions, and multilateral development banks, as well as engagement through the Business Partnership for Market Implementation (B-PMI). Previously, Björn has been working on climate policy for various organizations across the world, including the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Centre in Bangkok, the Swedish Development Agency (SIDA), the Institute for Climate Policy Solutions and at Grant Thornton.
