Dr. Lisa Leinert is the Strategy and Origination Lead in the Energy Transition Investments team at Vitol. With a background in climate technology and sustainability consulting at McKinsey and from her PhD at ETH Zurich, Lisa has developed deep expertise in carbon markets and innovative decarbonization solutions. At Vitol, she supports the company’s growth in carbon across both trading and investments, helping to shape strategies that advance the energy transition. Lisa brings experience at the intersection of commercial, investment, and sustainability topics as they relate to Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR).
