Louis Redshaw is the CEO and founder of Redshaw Advisors and Net Zero Markets. He is one of the highest-profile advocates of the use of carbon markets to combat climate change. He is a key opinion leader whose insights are sought by governments, legislatures and corporations. Louis has been active in the carbon markets for over 20 years. He established Barclays Bank’s Environmental Markets team which he led for ten years. In 2014, he left to establish Redshaw Advisors which has grown to become one of Europe’s leading environmental market advisory and procurement businesses. In 2021, he launched Plannet Zero which offers high quality advice and solutions to corporates setting out on their path to net zero. This year, Louis launched a new business – Net Zero Markets – which aims to transform the voluntary carbon market through increased standardisation and exchange tradability of carbon offset solutions.
