Stephen McComb is a Chicago-based environmental and energy markets executive who currently serves as Managing Director of IncubEx. McComb joined IncubEx in 2019 and is responsible for corporate strategy, business, and product development. Prior to IncubEx, he led the US environmental markets business at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). McComb came to ICE from its acquisition of Climate Exchange PLC where McComb worked on developing the offsets program at Chicago Climate Exchange and futures markets at Chicago Climate Futures Exchange. Prior to Climate Exchange PLC, McComb served as an economist for the State Utility Forecasting Group at Purdue University working on electricity and natural gas price forecasting. Prior to that McComb was an analyst for the Ontario Energy Board where he worked on rate cases related to new electricity and natural gas infrastructure, as well as renewable and energy efficiency programs. McComb studied Economics in undergrad at Dalhousie University in Halifax and Environmental Economics as a master’s at Toronto Metropolitan University.
