Michael is an Analyst in S&P Global Commodity Insights’ Low Carbon Markets team. His responsibilities include preparing market reports and forecasts focusing on compliance carbon markets in Europe, including the EU Emissions Trading System and the recently established UK Emissions Trading Scheme.
Prior to joining S&P Global Commodity Insights, Michael spent four years working in emissions trading policy roles for the UK Government’s Civil Service.
Michael has also previously worked and qualified as an operational meteorologist for the UK Meteorological Office. Michael graduated from the University of Exeter with a Batchelor degree in Geography.
