As Managing Director, Niroj leads CCX global business in climate change, sustainability advisory, and asset management.
Mr. Niroj Mohanty has over 18 years of experience in developing and financing projects in climate change mitigation/adaptation, biodiversity challenges, natural resource management, and the renewable energy field. Inspired by the potential companies in helping to transition to a Net Zero World, Niroj has been developing solutions for clients that significantly reduce their carbon footprint, help them adapt to the challenges associated with climate change, and provide social benefits to the surrounding communities. Most recently, Niroj has been working on some of impactful projects that target to reduce 1 billion emissions offset by 2030.
Before his current position, Niroj was Associate Vice President at CantorCO2e (BGC Environmental Brokerage Services, L.P.) m,anaging the carbon business for Southern India. Niroj has also held a variety of roles during the early stage of the carbon market managing millions carbon credit projects at PricewaterhouseCoopers and NetPEM, to name a few.
Niroj received his MBA from NITIE, Mumbai, with concentrations in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management and his Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology from ITT Choudwar, Utkal University, India.
