Vidur has over a decade of experience in trading, structuring, and origination in the environmental & energy markets across Asia and Europe. He has built a track record in designing and managing both equity and complex debt securitization deals to foster growth in partner entities and generate trading value. Vidur is passionate about the nexus between carbon markets, environmental financing and decarbonization to tackle the climate crisis. He joined Hartree in 2022 to lead Asia Pacific Environmental Trading. Previously Vidur has held senior trading and origination roles for Shell and managing the environmental trade book for Southeast Asia. Prior roles include European gas & power origination and oil products trading. He has a Master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Birmingham.
