PALOMAR, Audrey

Audrey Palomar is currently the Head of Nature-Based Solutions for Asia Pacific in ecosecurities and is a Climate Policy Expert in the Roster of Experts of the Supervisory Body of the Article 6.4 Mechanism of the Paris Agreement.
She has 8+ years of diverse and extensive work experience in various environmental and climate-related roles and over 12+ years of professional experience working across various sectors. She specializes in carbon methodologies and standards, carbon accounting, project development, and policy with projects across Southeast Asia, such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Timor Leste, and the Philippines.
Audrey has also provided technical and policy support to the Forest Management Bureau of the Philippines on the Updates on REDD+ (2017), Review of the Carbon Accounting Verification and Certification System (CAVCS) (2020), REDD+ Action Plan (2021), National Expert to the AFoCO-SK Forest Technical Feasibility (2022), and the Refinement of the CAVCS (2024).
Before ecosecurities, Audrey held professional and professorial roles at the Center for Conservation Innovations PH Inc, Conservation International Philippines Foundation, Chevron Holdings Inc., The ONE School, and De La Salle University.
She holds a degree in BSc. Legal Management and MSc. in Environmental Science and Ecosystem Management.
