Jonty works at S&P Global Commodity Insights as the Head of Environmental Solutions, leading the group that delivers world-class infrastructure in the environmental markets, including registry services and the Meta Registry. Previously, he was a global leader in the pricing team for many years in a range of commodity markets, including Carbon, Energy Transition, Shipping, Chemicals, Agriculture, Gas and Oil, focused on delivering robust price benchmarks and market coverage. Jonty is currently based in the London office of Commodity Insights, and has been with the company for more than 17 years, including a stint based in the Singapore office for seven years. He has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and an MA from Cardiff University in International Journalism.
