Ellery is currently Director of CIX Exchange at Climate Impact X (CIX). He joined CIX at its inception in 2021, and is responsible for implementing the global strategy as well as driving the operational success of the company’s spot trading venue, CIX Exchange. A core focus of his role is to ensure the Exchange’s capabilities continue to map and address carbon market user requirements as they evolve over time.Prior to this, Ellery co-founded an AI-driven legal technology company headquartered in Singapore. He led the business to a successful series A capital raise and its subsequent expansion into the European market, where they served leading UK law firms (Magic Circle). In this role, his responsibilities included leading a team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, sales and marketing professionals to deliver the company’s vision. Ellery started his career specialising in multi-asset investment strategies across global public markets, including a five-year stint at JP Morgan.
